Network maintenance - Wednesday 20th April 5:00AM
We're going to be doing a small amount of maintenance to our network. This will occur in the early hours of Wednesday morning, around 5AM. Due to the resilient self-healing nature of our network, shouldn't notice any disruption whatsoever; at most maybe a few seconds of packet loss may occur.
For the more technical amongst you, a more detailed explanation is that we'll be changing the way we originate 2 of our prefixes via BGP. This will further strengthen the network in the unlikely event that we lose one of the physical links between our 2 datacentres.
Of course, if anything goes wrong, the changes will be rolled back immediately.
